| Name some unique qualities that as a group you all possess in your live performances. Jair Dynast: Our unique qualities live come fromt he fact that we are such distinct personalities. My persona on stage is just to hype shit up and get the crowd interested. Face is a vibes man, so he feeds off the rest of us and comes in with a new style for the crowd to feed on. -db Osci is just in your face with it where as Indipherent is just as his name says indifferent to everything. Spade being the comic relief, gets the crowd off his expressions and lyrical antics. From our experience, as a group, we have this interaction on stage that gets crowds even more into our tracks as we perform them. The live show is tight! What do you currently have in your walkman, care stereo, stereo, etc.? Gold Spade: First and foremost our Street CD... IT'S BLAZIN!!! Then in the pocket I got Scarface's last offering, "The Fix", Doggy Allstars, Gold Spade & Voice Angel's "Masterpiece Theatre", and a CDR of classic hip hop (i.e. Slick Rick's "Treat'em Like a Prostitute"). What do you hate/like most about the music biz? Kev -db Osci: What I like the most about the biz is the music itself!!! It allows me to free my mind, be creative, express myself while giving others pleasure. What I hate about the biz is the politics behind it!!! 95 % of the time it's about who u know not what u can bring to the game. Niggaz try to rip u off and play u for a cunt but it's all part of the game! Are there other artists that you all have worked with or would like to work with? Gold Spade: For our project we worked with local buzz artists Theology3, and Arabesque, as well as our extended family Voice Angel, Keto Rockwell, Likkle and singer Diaz. What are you're main motivations in doing what you do? Mad Face: My kids, and my love for the music. It's a outlet for me to express my feelings and thoughts. If you had to sum up the Toronto hip hop scene in 3 words what would those be? Gold Spade: Very demanding crowds. What spots in Toronto do you suggest people check out in case they visit? Mad Face: If you look like J Lo then, my crib! Otherwise Downtown on a Friday or Saturday night G-Spot or check out a Raptor or Bluejay game. If you were sent to an undisclosed location with the option of bringing three cd's what would those cd's be? Gold Spade: The first Black Sheep album, Wu-Tang's "36 Chambers", and Jay-Z's "Reasonable Doubt"....actually .....correction......I'd bring "Da Network Street Exclusive CD", Gold Spade & Voice Angel's "Masterpiece Theatre", and another copy of "Da Network Street Exclusive CD" WHICH IS AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW! Even if you don't have any favorites, pick the joint you personally like or that stands out the most to you from Da Network album. Kev -db Osci: Every joint stands out b/c we bring a different flavor to these beats but if I was force to choose, the one I would have to pick is track 1 through 33!!! Sum it up for the folks in New Mexico, what last thing would you like to let the people in the Southwest know about Da Network? Indipherent: We're coming, so get ready.....
