So who makes up Da Network and what role do you each play?

Indipherent: Da Network is five men strong, Jair Dynast, Kev DB-osci, Gold Spade, Mad Face and Indipherent. We all bring different attributes to the table for instance we have a resdient computer guy in Jair, a communications dynamo In Kev db, a guy that keeps us all focused on the task at hand with a million new ideas in Mad Face, the residential financial dude in Indipherent, and then theres Gold Spade.......(he provides the comic relief).

How did the group come together?

Jair Dynast: Spade and I linked through a mutual respect for each others music.  Spade brought with him Indipherent and Mad Face and we all felt each others vibe seeing that we could build something for the future together.  Then, I felt it wouldn't be complete without -db Osci involved so I brought him in to the loop and Da Network is what it is today.

What were your first experiences with hip hop music (first song that caught your attention, first concert you saw, etc.)?

Mad Face: One of the 1st Hip Hop records that caught my attention is BDP The Bridge Is Over and Rob Base It Takes 2.  The 1st True hip hop show I ever went to was the Hard Knock Life tour at the ACC.

What are your musical influences?

Kev -db Osci (pronounced Dibease): My musical influences range from Phil Collins (his old shit) to Ghostface!  I Like music no matter what it is as long as it's good music, regardless of the genre!

What are you bringing to hip hop that is different from other artist?

Indipherent: Usually when you look at a hip hop group you see 5 like - minded individuals with subtle differences.  We have almost nothing in common with each other except we're all dope mc's.  We bring 5 diverse personalities which somehow fuse together to create incredible product, you have to hear it to believe it.

What are you hoping to accomplish?

Kev -db Osci: What I'm trying to accomplish and I feel Da Network is tryin' to accomplish is World Dominance!!  We wanna blow up like no other and become a house hold name.  We feel that we have the talent on our roster to do it and it's only a matter of time b4 we're noticed internationally.

What are the differences or similarities from the hip hop scene in Canada to the scene in America?

Mad Face: The hip hop life style is pretty much the same and we have talent here just like the States but the difference is there's more opportunities for cats south of our border to take advantage of when it comes to hip hop.

What are you opinions about the global situation in the Middle East?

Indipherent: I'm not for war and I hate politics.  We as normal citizens are never given all the information pertaining to even our own domestic situtation so it's difficult to make any educated decisions with regards to whether North America should have a presence in the Middle East.  Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  Since both sides in the conflict have power, we're left to assume........

Tell us about the album.  How many joints?  Release date?  Lead single?

Jair Dynast: Well, first off, this is our Street CD just feeding the streets with material before we actually drop The Album.  There is 33 tracks on it and the lead single is "So Slow".  "So Slow is an official club banger!  The Street Exclusive CD dropped April 15 and it's a mixture of dubs, original material and the hilarious Bill Cunningham.  It's doing really well!!!

Do any of you have any other projects that you have put together in the past that we should check out?

Jair Dyanst: Face dropped his Foundation EP in 99' on Nasty North Records, Spade dropped his Buy My Album LP in 99' on Nasty North, Indipherent was a part of a lot of 2 Crazy Mental projects and peeps from as far south as Atlanta to here in the norht would have caught wind of - db Osci and myself in 2000 through our 12 " "Bonk!" as the duo Sublyme.
