| This semester programming resumed from 2 to 5 pm every Friday afternoon. Time had to be spared with graduate school and work putting the interview section on hold. However a full transcription of the interviews with The Beat Within and Helena Maria Viramontes were made available. The audio interview with The Visionaries was also posted. Aqui se puede continued Youth Radio throughout the semester and also utilized the air time to promote their first DVD/CD documentary/soundtrack production titled Memories of Our Lifetime featuring local producer Hexsag0n. Shoutout to Groove and Avoid the Lyricist for helping us peice together the entire project. In December the audio projects continued with Pt. 1 of A Session of Chicanoa, a 2 hour program dedicated to the voice and instruments of the Chicano/a soul, funk, jazz and folk artist. |
