DJ Digumsmak became a household name in the booth this year. KRUX is also blessed with the presence of Vic who came through with Chad, Milton and several others to host KRUX first Gospel Hip Hop radio program; Holy Culture Radio from 12 midnite Friday to 2 am Saturday morning. Lee begins hosting radio on Saturday nights from 8 pm to 2 am. Later on in the semester Lee also begins working the Friday morning slot. Other new disc jockeys included Cris Rios who began hosting Worldwide Underground from 2 to 4 am Sunday mornings. Karina also continued to host the Nu-Soul program on Saturday nights. On Sundays, Blaze and Bludgeon continued the Hooked on Phonix mix show. Lee put together interviews with Mr. Wiggles from the Rocksteady Crew & Electric Boogaloos (much thanks to Tito at Eye 2 Eye for setting that up), Truth Universal, GM Grimm and Sol Uprising. A thank you to Jessica at Spectre for supplying KRUX radio with the goods. Soul and Hip Hop rotation moves on. |
