| The final chapter of The Soul Session and The Representation Show at New Mexico State University. The last program broadcasted on May 6, 2008. Much respect and thanks to J.DeSenso, Phil Da Poet, Benjeem, Gorillasis, DJ Dislexican and to everybody else that was there. Thank you Brother Gravity for gettin' that together and makin' that last show what it was. The final playlist included a special shout out(s) list that you all could access by clicking here: The FINALE | Playlist. Extended shout out especially towards the end of the semester to folks like D.A. the I.N.M. & Benzo for comin' through and broadcastin' their music and supportin' college radio. Of course great respect and admiration to Junclassic out in NY for blessin' us with his presence on the airwaves for the IPOD Banger of the Week throughout the semester. Glad we was able to connect out in NYC this year family. It's been a long time. Goin' all the way back to when there was no radio programs broadcastin' what we ended up broadcastin' at NMSU's KRUX 91.5 fm. It started with this program here. Shoutout to J.Bowman. On May 2, 2008, I also gave a poetry reading from my thesis to complete the Masters of Fine Arts program at NMSU. The thesis is titled Tape Decks. Tape Decks contains an introduction and a collection of poems (side A | B) that represents a timeline of people, music and experiences that has led up to this point in my life. The thesis will be available at NMSU and will be something that I plan on reworking and maybe getting published. I can't thank you enough, Phil and Jus, for lookin' out for me, buildin' with my family, doing the introduction at the reading and for your friendship and support. Thank you, for real. Shout out also to everybody involved with soulVerse. From the storms of 07', to the first soulVerse session at the Dungeon, to the organizin' of The Open Room, to The Open Stage, to the documentary and the many collaborations and events that started from that entire movement... To everybody that was affiliated and that supported that, much respect. That needs to be documented. Also to the Voices Behind Walls program and all the youth that have been instrumental in allowin' the pen and page to become a significant part of who they are... all respect. Rest in peace to Isidro Castillo and prayers & blessings to everyone thats still in and thats made it out. Props also to the LCJCP program and all the young folks there that got involved with Youth Radio in April 08'. This will be the final bio note for the website; leehiphopshow.com and the Message Board will remain active. Currently I'm working on putting together a series of podcast(s) for REPSHOW-DIGITAL to keep those thats been tuned in through 91.5 fm in tune with good music. I also plan to continue working on Audio Projects. Currently there are two programs in production: A Session of Malcolm X pt. 2 and A Session of Bruce Lee. New plans are also underway for Hip Hop Alumni.com I look forward to stayin' connected with everybody as we proceed into what's next. As for now, I'm workin' full time back in the place where I was born and raised, thank you Frogger & E-Man for lookin' out and for celebratin' my last day as a student at NMSU - also, DJ SA and the Candelaria fam, got love for ya'll always, thank you for being there and for the pen!
